National Lampoon’s Vegas Vacation 

Alright… We aren’t the Griswalds but we did go to Las Vegas this past weekend. To visit my sister and to take photos of my Nieces and Nephews.

As many of you know, we recently (within the last year) moved from Carson City Nevada to Southern California but we were not the only ones in our family who had big changes in happening. My sister, who used to live just down the street from us in Carson also decided to make the move to Las Vegas. It was a decision they made for the children and I am so glad they did! It now takes half the time to get there and visit.

When we arrived on Friday afternoon, all the kids were off school and waiting for us. It probably didn’t hurt that we came with five pumpkins (from my Aunt) and had some majorly fun plans to carve them, make salted pumpkin seeds, and bake brownies.  What kid wouldn’t like that? 

The next day my sister and I took the three girls out to the mall and let them each pick something out for the photos were were taking that evening. Dresses, necklaces, and even a hat were purchased and I had so much fun with them. As we wondered around H&M, Forever 21 and the Icing we were able to find things that each girl liked. The day flew by and we headed out to take some photos.

I was so glad that I could come down and spend some time with the family. I love and miss you all!
