Yacht Wedding

I have been looking to this wedding for quite some time now! Not only are Laura and Omar a really fun couple but it was a Yacht Wedding!! Need I say more??

They day started out at Laura and Omar’s house. This had to be the most laid back wedding I have had in some time… After all they both got ready at the same place and didn’t care if they say each other (of course not with the dress on). To be honest, this made it really easy for photos! Everything went smoothly and we were running ahead of schedule so we headed over to the Dock so that She could slip into her dress.

They decided to get married on a FantaSea yacht called the RegentSea located down at Marina Del Rey. It was an amazing boat with giant windows and was a completely unique and fun way to say “I do!” There is a lovely bridal suite on board where Laura hopped into her dress. As soon as she was ready to go, we took her down for the first look. I don’t particularly like shooting in the middle of the day because of the bright, harsh sunlight but we didn’t have much of a choice. After all, as soon as the ship set sail, we weren’t coming back to land until dark. We found a nice shady spot between the boats that was perfect for the first look. Omar’s reaction was so cute. You can tell that he was completely checking her out!

After taking some photos around the harbor we got back on board just in time for the guests to arrive. Friends and family flooded in and the boat set sail. It didn’t take long and we were gliding along the water and ready for the ceremony.
