Santa Monica Pier Engagement Session

Happy Thursday evening everyone! I hope your week has been a wonderful one so far. I wanted to share with you a really fun Santa Monica Pier Engagement Session that I shot this last month for Dani & Ian. I originally met Dani at a Noor wedding in Pasadena. I was helping out Nick shooting video ( with our sister company – www.MotivityFilms.com ). Dani was actually singing in the band Gold Standard and they were AMAZING. I got to talking to her and by the end of the night we were besties… or at least as much as you can be for just meeting someone. I think Anne of Green Gables call that bosom buddies but I digress…

We ended up getting together with Ian and Dani in Downtown Disney and it was perfect!! We all hit it off so well so we started planning the engagement session. They actually live in Santa Monica and since their family lives back east, they wanted to show them how amazing Southern California can be by doing a Santa Monica Pier Engagement Session!!!

Obviously they love music, so we went to this little hole-in-the-wall record and book store that they frequent. It was so cute!! I loved just about everything about it and the best part?? It was perfect for THEM.

After we left the Record Store we headed over to the beach/pier. It was a busy day but we still had a ton of fun shooting around all the people. As the sun started to go down we were able to get some amazing colors in the sky!!! WOWZA!! Totally to die for!
